The MINI window cleaning job.

The not so MINI window cleaning job

One of the branches of the MINI Corporation, in Universal City, Los Angeles County.
The owner Jose M. Beltran visited, and reconnected with his roots in the window cleaning industry. Spending time with The a.k.a. Godfather of Window Cleaners in his family tree (Tio)Ramon Davalos.
It was basic Tio Ramon was contracted in search for wisdom.  An opportunity to pick a brain and clear doubts. It took stepping outside our back yard (San Diego) to step back in to an old comfort zone. Every business needs their resources, and in this case, it was just an opportunity to talk business with his Mentor. Results of the conversations will only show The business needs to grow.
As for the surroundings of the jobsite, they were impressively sleek and modern. The three story building had large windows facing the public street,
the inside offices divided with widows as well. Uncle Ramon taught a trade that is truly not easy and well over looked. That day was quiet and all that was heard was the splashing of the water from the men, in opposite parts of the building. Wipes and dunks of: wands, squeegees, & sponges. Squeegees swiped cutting threw the window soap so skilled as if it was an art form. Lastly a towel & a sponge to leave a flawless finish.
Out of the box, clear headed to evaluate ones business. Family will still be here to continue paving the way in a lost art. Jose M. Beltran was not only raised in the industry he is continuing a family tradition. A lot is changing in society were his number one priority is to not fix what is not broken. Watching the wisdom being passed down threw conversation & just the level of confidence from both generations showed me how strong this tradition is in this family.
They are proud of what they do and it is well shown in the work ethic and skill level carried out no matter the price. It's exciting to see what comes out of this conversation in the next 12 weeks. That is something that I cannot blog lol. So watch out San Diego there is something about to explode out of Coronado; & it won't be coming out of those gun ships from the navy base.
